Winter months happen to be when most of us dump our fitness routines and take to a lazier life all because of cold. Well, that shouldn’t be the case. A health expert has shared a few tips on how can you stick to your fitness routines despite the lazy environment all around you.
Things to do:
- Walking: One of the easiest ways for digest that calorie-pumped meal would be walking. For at least 15-20 minutes after eating. You can walk outside or inside for a while or stroll inside your house. If you do not want to go for that long walk, take a moderately fast one anyway!
- Indoor exercise: Fixing a quick 15-minute exercise in between your schedule will help in cutting those extra carbs. Schedule time for exercise to suit you and your schedule. The expert suggests for the 15 minutes of exercise, you should go for three sets of – 15 jumping jacks, six push-ups, 30 seconds plank, five sit-ups and five squats.
- Water: The most common practice taking gulping a glass of water just after eating a heavy meal, which causes indigestion. Drink water 30 minutes before or a meal or 30-45 minutes after eating. It’s also important to sip water before, during and after exercise for the body to be hydrated at all times.
