The Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy S10+ are just a few weeks away from going official. According to a majority of reports doing the rounds, Samsung will announce the phones on February 20, ahead of MWC 2019. In fact, rumors, leaks, and reports on the Galaxy S10 trio have been pouring in every day, which can make it difficult for consumers to keep a track of. When a new report comes in

On Thursday, tipster Evan Blass posted a live image of the regular Galaxy S10, codenamed Beyond 1. The image reveals the phone’s Infinity-O punch hole display with a circular cutout on the top right corner for the selfie camera. It also reveals that the chin bezel will be slightly thicker than the top bezel. In the same thread where Blass leaked the latest live image, he adds that the Galaxy S10 will come with a reverse wireless charging feature that will charge other compatible devices and watches,

A few hours later, another tipster who goes by Ice Universe posted an image showing transparent back covers of the Galaxy S10, S10 Lite and S10+ along their screen sizes and battery capacity. The Lite model will house a 3,100mAh battery, while the regular Galaxy S10 will get a 3,500mAh capacity and the Plus-sized version will house a large 4,000mAh battery like last year’s Galaxy Note 9.



The Galaxy S10 the middle model and expected to sport a 6.1-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display. The Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy S10+ are yet to come with 5.8-inch and 6.4-inch AMOLED Infinity-O displays, respectively. More over, the Lite model will also be the only one among the three to get a flat AMOLED display. The other two models will get typical dual curved edges.

Additionally, while the Galaxy S10 Lite and the regular S10 are expect to come with a single front camera, the Plus model is to come with dual front-facing cameras, so we expect to see a pill-shaped cut out on the display to accommodate two sensors. A render (as shown above) by a concept designer Ben Geskin shows how the display hole on the S10+ will look different to the other two variants.

What we know so far

The Galaxy S10, S10 Lite and S10 Plus should get the latest Exynos 9820 or Snapdragon 855 chipsets depending on the market. They are all rumored to come with One UI based on Android Pie out-of-the-box. Along with 3.5mm headphone jack as well. The Galaxy S10 Lite will also be the only phone among the three to offer a side fingerprint sensor rather than an ultrasonic in-display one.

Specially from the size of the displays, the Galaxy S10 trio also expected to differ in regard to the number of cameras. The Galaxy S10 Lite is rumore to come with dual rear cameras, and a single front-facing camera. The regular Galaxy S10 is to come with triple rear cameras, and a single selfie cameras. Samsung may not be going with gradient colors for the Galaxy S10 phones like it did with the Galaxy A9 (2018). Instead, tipster Ice Universe claims the phones will have “gorgeous and lustrous” solid colors. Hinting that one of them could be an Emerald Green color.

Samsung Galaxy S10 expected price

As of a report in December, the tentative pricing of the Galaxy S10 Lite said to be 699 pounds (approx Rs 63,000).
