How to Stop Facebook Giving Your Data to Third Parties
In the case of data theft, social networking site Facebook has to face people's resentment. In fact, a firm named Cambridge Anilica tampered with data from millions of users of Facebook. The firm used it to influence the 2016 US presidential election. Since then, a new debate has begun between the users. The debate is on how secure their information is on Facebook. If this incident is understood in easy language, you share some of your information on Facebook. E.g., name, address, email id, contact number etc. These information access many third parties on Facebook. In this case, many apps may misuse your information. The biggest thing is that you do not even know how many third-party apps are in your account.
We will tell you how to view third party apps on your Facebook account and how you can hide your information. Apart from this, they will also explain how you can delete these apps.
Log in to your Facebook account.
On the right side (right side) you will see the Settings option. Click on it.
You'll see a lot of options on the Settings page. Here, on the left side you will see an Apps option, click on it.
In this way you will be able to easily install third party app You will see a lot of apps on the Apps Settings page. All these apps access any of your information. You have to see which app is not of your work. We chose the Airtel Friend Finder app for example. Click the pencil icon appearing in front of the app.
Here you can see many options. You can set the privacy of App Visibility here. INFO YOU PROVIDE TO THIS APP - The app tells you what information they are getting from your account in this option. If you do not want to share any information, you can disable it by clicking on the blue mark in front of that option. You can also ask to delete your information by reporting an app here.
If you want to delete the app, click Remove App.
Facebook will ask you again. You can delete the app by clicking the Remove button.
