Asian Games 2018: Great Day of the Second Day, shooter Deepak Kumar won silver medal
Indian shooter Deepak Kumar on Monday (August 20) won the men’s 10 meter air rifle silver medal in the Asian Games 2018 shooting competition. However, Ravi Kumar could not win the medal in this competition. They got fourth place. Deepak grabbed the silver medal by securing 247.1 points in the finals. It is the first medal for India on the second day of Asian Games. Deepak won the medal for the first time in the Asian Games. Prior to this, Deepak ranked fifth in the qualification, while Ravi finished fourth.
The gold medal of this competition won by Yang HaoRan of China, while Bronze Shaochuan has got.
Indian Shooter Deepak Kumar Stay in fifth place
Before that, Ravi Kumar and Deepak Kumar did well and entered the men’s 10 meter air rifle final. Ravi achieved fourth place in the qualification round, while Deepak got fifth position. Indian shooter Ravi finished fourth in the list of 44 athletes, securing 626.7 points. Deepak secured fifth place with 626.3 points. In this list, China’s Yang Hoyran topped the list with 632.9 points, while South Korea’s Song Suoji got second with 629.7 points and China’s Zheng was ranked third with 627.2 points.
A gold and bronze in the first day
The first day of 18th Asian Games mixed for India Bajrang Poonia finished the gold medal in men’s 65 kg freestyle freestyle event, while two Olympic medal winners Sushil Kumar got out in the first round of 74 kg freestyle freestyle competition. Apurvi Chandela and Ravi Kumar made bronze medals in the 10 meter air rifle mixed team event in the shooting, but young shooter Manu Bhake and his partner Abhishek Verma could not get medals in the 10-meter pistol mixed team event.
