Raid box-office collection
Ajay Devgan's action-thriller film Red has achieved the status of becoming the second highest opening weekend earning film of this year, with a collection of more than 400 million in the first three days at the domestic box office.

The movie Raid has earned 41 million a million rupees with the first weekend ending. This is due to the response from Ajay Devgan's film to the audience on Saturdays and Sundays. The film collected a collection of Rs 17.11 crore on Sunday at the domestic box office, while on Saturday it was Rs 13.86 crore. It is believed that Red can get a collection of up to 60 crores in the first week, which will be better for the future of this film.
Film Red is based on a true incident in the city of Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh in 1981. In the film, Ajay made Income Tax Officer and he is campaign against corruption. In the film, Iliana Dikruz is in the role of Ajay's wife and Saurabh Shukla, Amit Sayal and Pushpa Joshi have a big role. Red released in over 3500 screens worldwide. Red has now become the highest grossing film in the first weekend since Padmavat in this year's release movies. Padmav had earned 114 crores in the first week by combining extended weekend and paid preview. Akshay Kumar's Pad Man is now third.
Ajay Devgan's last year's film Golmaal Agen made a collection of Rs 87 crores 60 lakhs in the first weekend, while his emperor had earned Rs 43 crore 30 lakh in the first three days. Ghanchakkar, the last film directed by Rajkumar Rao, earned Rs 22 crore 30 lakhs in the first three days and No One Killed Jessica earned 13 million 10 lakh rupees.
